Registered Nurse (RN) - 12 Hr Days

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 12-hour day shift. The ideal candidate will hold an Associate degree in Nursing and possess an unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado, or have the ability to obtain such a license prior to the start date. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care in a low oxygen environment at high elevation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care and support in a dynamic healthcare environment.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; may be obtained upon hire
• First Aid certification; may be obtained upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Miscellaneous:
Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. It is extremely expensive, especially during winter months. Consider housing options in surrounding towns:
Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs. A common rate for a 1-bedroom apartment in Basalt is approximately $3,500/month. Candidates should be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment, particularly at an elevation of 8,000 feet.
