Registered Nurse - Whitcomb Terrace - PRN

We are currently hiring for a PRN Registered Nurse within the Whitcomb Terrace department here at Aspen Valley Health.

Rotating - 12 Hours

Range: $45.15 - $72.24 Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour! The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
• First Aid certification. May be obtained upon hire.

• Bilingual in Spanish preferred. We will consider equivalent combinations of experience and education for certain jobs. If you don't meet the job requirements as listed, but you believe you possess equivalent experience or education, you are encouraged to apply.

Provides professional nursing care and individualized assistance to residents of the Whitcomb Terrace assisted living facility. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Observes residents' progress and records observations in their medical records. Promotes residents' independence by teaching them and their families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

This position works with the Director, Medical Director, and other staff to identify and intervene in addressing the clinical, social, and daily living needs of residents.

• As a PRN employee, you will be eligible to purchase discounted bus passes for transportation to and from work, 457B, and also participate in a number of AVH hosted programs.
