We are currently hiring for a full time Director Perioperative Services within the Ambulatory Care Administration department here at Aspen Valley Health.
Work ShiftSalary
Compensation Range$ - $ Eligible new hires may qualify for a sign on bonus up to $15,000.
The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.
RequirementsMinimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- At least five years of experience in a perioperative management role.
- At least five years of experience as an OR Registered Nurse.
- Master's in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- CNOR Certification preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Experience with EPIC preferred.
- Experience in Sterile Processing

Position OverviewDirects care and services for Perioperative Services (Surgery, PACU, SDS, PAT, Sterile Processing, Endoscopy and Anesthesia Services). Ensures a high level of quality care and services for patients by coordinating, communicating, and collaborating with surgeons and anesthesia providers. Administrative responsibilities include planning, organizing, leading, coaching and coordinating the overall work of the perioperative services staff within the department on a 24-hour basis in order to provide quality patient-centered care.
Responsibilities also include preparation of and accountability for annual budget for the department as well as variance analysis as requested. Promotes departmental and inter-departmental teamwork and respect. Assists in direct patient care if needed to staff the department.
