General Manager - Luxury Retail Store

A rapidly growing luxury Western lifestyle retailer is seeking an exceptional General Manager to launch and lead its new Aspen store.

This is a high-profile opportunity for an accomplished luxury retail leader who understands the expectations of a sophisticated, service-focused market. The General Manager will establish the store’s team, culture, customer base and operating standards while taking complete ownership of commercial performance. The successful candidate will combine entrepreneurial energy with polished leadership and a genuine passion for craftsmanship and luxury service.

• Lead the opening and ongoing operation of the new Aspen store.
• Recruit, onboard, train and develop an exceptional sales and support team.
• Take ownership of sales, profitability, payroll, inventory and operational performance.
• Deliver a highly personalized luxury experience for every customer.
• Establish a sophisticated cliente focused culture focused on loyalty, referrals and repeat business.
• Set clear sales expectations and monitor store and individual performance indicators.
• Use reporting and sales trends to identify opportunities and make timely decisions.
• Maintain impeccable merchandising, presentation, organization and product-care standards.
• Build relationships and partnerships within the Aspen community.
• Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, professionalism and recognition.

• Significant retail management experience within luxury, premium or high-touch specialty retail.
• Proven success leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
• Strong commercial understanding of sales, payroll, inventory, profitability and store operations.
• Experience delivering personalized service to discerning customers.
• Demonstrated ability to build a customer base and successful clienteling culture.
• Entrepreneurial, action-oriented leadership style with ownership of results.
• Excellent communication, judgment and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to establish a new team, culture and operation.
• Ability to work fully on-site, including evenings, weekends, holidays, events and peak seasonal periods.
• Appreciation of Western fashion, craftsmanship or luxury lifestyle products.
• Western retail experience is preferred.

• Base salary of $110,000–$130,000
  , depending on experience.
• Company-provided housing.
