Art Handler/Driver

UOVO, a leading provider of storage, management, and logistics of valuable art, fashion, and wine, is seeking a full‑time Art Handler/Driver to support day‑to‑day transportation and off‑site activities out of our Aspen warehouse. The role reports to the Warehouse Manager and requires 3–5 years of experience with storage/collection management, knowledge of handling a wide range of art objects, and a strong sense of safety and precision.

Work is on‑site at UOVO’s Aspen facility five days a week, with occasional nights, weekends, and travel as required.

• Proper handling of art objects, using appropriate methods and materials for packaging, loading, and securing for safe transport.
• Install and de‑install artworks in‑house or at off‑site locations, troubleshooting and applying critical thinking to scope changes.
• Prepare and execute paperwork, including bills of lading, labels, driver logs, and detailed condition reports with accompanying photos when necessary.
• Receive and release shipments into warehouse facilities.
• Pack artworks for local, national, and international transportation and storage.
• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and DOT regulations.
• Support internal teams as needed.
• Weekend, overtime, and holiday work may be required; therefore, schedule flexibility is essential.
• Complete other projects as assigned by the Manager.

• Team player able to work in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of installation, packing, and art handling.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail with both clients and coworkers.
• Ability to problem‑solve and address onsite issues, and know when to escalate problems to a supervisor.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL license a bonus.
• Ability to push and pull 150 pounds on a dolly or cart, as well as 50 pounds without mechanical aid.
• Ability to carry 40 pounds of varying size and shape up to a distance of 90 feet.
• Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach overhead.
• Ability to be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
• Familiarity with hand trucks, pallet jacks, J‑bars, dollies, and other necessary warehouse equipment.
