Full‑Time Dental Hygienist – Dental Care of Canby

Schedule:
Monday – Thursday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM. No late nights or weekends. 30+ hours per week required for full benefits.
- Bi‑weekly hourly pay with optional Daily Pay to receive paycheck as earned.

Dental Care of Canby is a Heartland Dental supported office located near Hwy 99E & Downtown Canby. We provide a full‑time practice team, robust support, and a vast network of mentors to help you develop your clinical skills.

Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive hygiene care, including patient screening and preventive treatments.
- Document medical and dental history accurately in electronic medical record systems.
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and digital x‑rays as needed.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and infection control.
- Current dental hygienist license in Oregon.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (required).
- Excellent knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and documentation.
- CPR certification.
- No experience required; training for new grads offered.
- Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills.
- Willingness to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Availability for virtual training sessions as required.
- Must complete a tuberculosis (TB) test during pre‑employment (not required in FL & TN).
