Position Highlights:- Paid training program with career advancement opportunities: $28.18 per hour.

- Set up and record periodontal charting per Provider’s instructions.
- Maintain patient dental records, updating patient medical history and vital signs as needed.
- Prepare and set up instruments and equipment necessary for the patient treatment performed by the Provider.
- Provide education and counsel in oral hygiene for patients in the clinic.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring the patient infection control program for the clinic, including ensuring the integrity of sterile packaging, sterilizing instruments/equipment, and cleaning autoclaves and operatories.
- Performs clinical responsibilities in alignment with The Joint Commission (TJC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and YVFWC requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Conduct complete patient x-ray procedure including panoramic and cephalometric radiographs and intra oral photographs. Stores the x-rays in the patient’s electronic dental record.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.
- Dental Radiology Certification within 90 days of hire.
- Infection Control Exam (ICE) taken and passed within 90 days of hire.
- EFDA certification within 18 months of hire is required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking skills preferred at a level 10.
- This position is eligible for Bilingual Differential Compensation when an ALTA score of 10 is achieved.
- Strong level of manual dexterity and coordination.
- Ability to effectively interact with a variety of patients of all ages, and employees in a professional manner.
