Assist in preparation for dialysis treatment and document where appropriate and perform all required pretreatment dialysis machine alarm testing including Pressure Holding;
Monitor patients during dialysis and record vital signs and treatment parameters;
Document Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet and progress notes and report changes to RN or supervisor;
Maintain infection control practices and prepare equipment and rooms between treatments;
Educate patients regarding adequacy measures and disease processes as appropriate under supervision
