Phlebotomist Float w/Testing - PAML
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday hours vary between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; additional hours and rotating Saturdays as needed.
Job Responsibilities- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Qualified to perform moderate complexity testing as defined by CLIA.
- Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required.
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Provide superior customer service to all patients.
- Administrative and clerical duties as needed.
- Travel to additional sites when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One or more years of phlebotomy experience.
- Six or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy.
In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
- Must be 21 years of age and have a clean driving record.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
