Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare (CBH) has moved most positions to a 4 day 9 hour work week with paid 30 minute lunches to promote a better work life balance. Wages have also been increased for our valued current and future employees.

Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a full time Child and Family Assistant Program Manager.

This position provides back-up group and/or individual staff supervision when program manager is not available. This position will also have a small case load and provide in-office and/or community-based therapy to children & families enrolled in Child & Family (CF) outpatient mental health services and/or Intensive In-home Behavioral Health Treatment (IIBHT) and provide in-suite crisis response when program manager is not available.

Documentation
  • Provide back-up individual & group supervision to CF team members when program manager is not available.
  • Maintain fidelity standards for IIBHT; track client enrollment & discharge; submit all required documentation & reports in Redcap.
  • Attend weekly IIBHT collaborative learning meeting and participate in required conferences & trainings.
  • Attend assigned internal meetings including but not limited to:
    Child & Family Mental Health Staffing, Case management/IIBHT/Wraparound Staffing and Managers’ Meeting.
  • Complete all documentation to agency standards and within parameters set by the Oregon Administrative Rules.
  • Participate in 1x/week supervision.
  • All CBH Staff are Mandatory Abuse Reporters per the State of Oregon, as such all staff must be aware of and follow Mandatory Abuse Reporting Policies.
Client care
  • Provide direct services to children & families enrolled in outpatient and/or community-based mental health treatment (including school-based and/or IIBHT).
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of the profession.
  • Meet with a youth & family within 3 days of being accepted into the IIBHT program to assess the needs and complete the treatment plan.
  • Assess risk and complete safety plans for individuals assigned to the IIBHT program.
  • Meet monthly with each youth & family enrolled in IIBHT to review progress and to update the treatment plan as needed.
  • Schedule, coordinate & provide at least 2 hours of services per week per assigned youth/family, among the IIBHT team.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and maintain a strength-based approach in working with families, community partners, team members & staff.
  • Collect data outcome using the Ohio Scale and Hope Scale; upload to client ECR.
  • After discharge from IIBHT, lead clinician will follow families and check-in periodically.
  • Coordinate treatment for individuals in IIBHT with other CBH providers and with external resources & stakeholders.
  • Serve as lead crisis responder for IIBHT clients during working hours, responding immediately for on-site crisis stabilization, as necessary, and virtually by telecommunication when indicated.
  • Seek consultation from the Child & Family Program Manager and the Director of Outpatient Services regarding high-risk cases, system barriers, and any concerns regarding abuse, neglect, or elements impacting direct care.
  • Participate in holiday, weekend & after hours Parent Support Phone rotation.
Secondary Job Functions
  • Assist in recruiting & hiring for open agency positions, as needed.
  • Support ongoing training, development and retention of employees.
  • Serve as liaison between CBH child & family services and community stakeholders. Attend assigned meetings with community partners to ensure system collaboration and coordination of care.
  • When IIBHT census is low, lead clinician may be assigned other youth & families to provide ongoing outpatient services.
