Phlebotomist Float w​/Testing

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are seeking a Float Phlebotomist to work in Astoria, OR. The role works Monday‑Friday with hours varying between 7:00am and 7:00pm, with additional hours and rotating Saturdays as needed. Travel to additional sites may be required.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other assessments.
• Qualify specimens for moderately complex testing as defined by CLIA.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as required.
• Collaborate with team members and work independently or with minimal supervision.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience.
• Preferred: 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• Standardized color blindness test required.
• Must be 21 years of age and possess a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
