The Employee Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides clinical support within the Employee Health department, working under the direction of the Employee Health RN. The LPN assists with immunization programs, evaluation and follow‑up of employee illnesses and work‑related injuries, and initiatives that promote a safe workplace. This role also supports quality and performance improvement activities to ensure effective, compliant, and efficient employee health services & overall employee wellness.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with immunization programs, evaluation, and follow‑up of employee illnesses and injuries; support safety initiatives; participate in quality and performance improvement projects.
Qualifications- Use Excel database; ability to extract clinical information from electronic medical record related to Infection Prevention.
- Read and extract meaning from state and federal regulations.
- Assist the EH RN with development and implementation of performance improvement projects.
- Work independently with guidance, exercise creativity and prioritize scheduling of work.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Oregon (currently licensed).
- Current BLS certification through American Heart Association.
- Graduate from an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience preferred.
Position involves sitting, walking, standing, stooping, and occasional carrying/lifting of items up to 20 lbs. May require significant walking between buildings/campuses and sitting for extended periods. Requires visual acuity, depth perception, and hand/finger dexterity to use a computer keyboard and general office equipment. Position may require travel between associated clinics and off‑site departments.
