DPI Security is hiring a
Security Officer to work as a
Facility Entrance Screener in the Astoria area . Ideal candidates must have strong customer service skills , are self
-motivated, dependable and can demonstrate reliability and are ready to make a difference while on the job, we want to hear from you!

• Pay Rate: $21 /hour

  Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
• Potential eligibility for benefits available after 60 days of employment

• Provide security services on customer property according to site Post Orders
• Observe and report unlawful or inappropriate activity per contract requirements
• Manage emergency situations and report as appropriate
• Maintain accurate documentation of security tours and incident reports
• Perform all work at DPI Security Services contract site to ensure customer satisfaction

• At least 1+ years of customer service /security experience or equivalent professional experience.
• 18 years of age or older
• Must have a
  GED or High School Diploma
• Must have or be able to obtain Oregon State DPSST Certification (training available for suitable candidates)
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Working knowledge of basic math, English grammar, writing, and spelling for required documentation
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail

• Current active DPSST card preferred, but all applicants will be considered
