Full-Time Lumber Sales Associate

We are looking for:

The Sales Associates primary responsibility is to drive sales by consistently providing Miner’s customers an environment “where customers want to shop and employees want to work”. An enthusiastic, positive and supportive attitude is essential. Sales Associates are also responsible for providing legendary customer service,merchandising product and supporting the management team.

Major Responsibilities:

The major responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
• Ensure each customer receives outstanding service which follows the S.A.L.E.S. process and by mystery shop standards.
• Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of every position.
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
• Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by management.
• Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards.
• Actively participate in stocking shelves, rotating stock as appropriate, dusting shelves and informing management of any needed bin tags.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency in executing tasks.
• Responsive of safety issues.
• Conscious of shoplifting activity.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise in store, on ACENET, as well as, processing special orders and promote add-on sales.
• Willingness to assist in training when requested by management.
• Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the store or the management team.

Pay Scale = $17.50 for Base Level. Levels 1-3 = $18.00-$21.50. Levels are based on performance.

Ability to report to all scheduled shifts on time and ready to work.

Willingness to learn.

Positive attitude and ability to work well with the team.

Basic math skills for operating a register.

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.

Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
