The hotel features spacious suites, complimentary breakfast, an outdoor pool, fitness center, Union & Vine restaurant and bar, and inviting outdoor spaces with a fire pit. With more than 5,000 square feet of flexible event space and convenient access to Paso Robles wineries, Templeton, and Atascadero, the property is well suited for both leisure and business travelers.
THE ROLEAs Director of Sales, you’ll lead the hotel’s sales efforts across business transient, group business, and banquet catering, with a focus on driving revenue, expanding market share, and building lasting relationships that create a strong base of business for the hotel. You’ll lead and develop the sales team, set strategy and goals, and serve as a key ambassador for the hotel within the local market.
You will:
- Drive revenue and business growth by developing new accounts, strengthening existing relationships, and executing sales strategies designed to achieve or exceed hotel revenue goals.

- Develop sales strategies and action plans across business transient, group, and banquet catering segments to maximize revenue and market share.
- Monitor sales performance and use market trends, lead sources, production data, and revenue management insights to make informed business decisions.
- Partner with Revenue Management to identify opportunities to optimize rate, occupancy, and overall hotel profitability.
- Champion the guest experience by ensuring business is booked and managed with a high level of service, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Represent the hotel in the community and marketplace by developing strong relationships with clients, partners, peers, competitors, and local organizations.
- Support the full sales process, from prospecting and proposals to contracts, correspondence, and ensuring a successful transition of booked business to operations.
- Communicate results and opportunities through consistent reporting on account, segment, and individual production and progress against goals.
Success in this role means growing the hotel's revenue while building a high-performing sales team and a strong presence in the local market. You’ll consistently achieve or exceed sales and revenue goals, develop a healthy pipeline of new business, strengthen key account relationships, and increase the hotel’s market share. Just as importantly, you’ll build a motivated and accountable sales team that understands its goals, feels empowered to make smart business decisions, and consistently delivers results.
