Accounting Manager Job Duties Include:

• Lead the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger and bank reconciliations
• Manage inventory accounting, including standard costing, inventory reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure accurate and timely project billing and revenue recognition
• Analyze monthly financial trends and variances to provide actionable insights to leadership
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with relevant historical data and trend analysis
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance and successful audits

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred
• At least 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or project-based environment
• Proven experience with monthly close processes and financial reporting
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, Sage, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis tools
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
