The Guidance Center (TGC) is the Community Mental Health Center and Certified Behavioral Health Clinic serving Leavenworth, Atchison, and Jefferson counties in Kansas. The Guidance Center (TGC) is currently seeking an Early Childhood Group Leader Assistant/Attendant Care Worker to be the newest member of our innovative interdisciplinary team. This position provides attendant care services to clientsparticipatingin the Center’sEarly Childhood program. Evenings Required (1+ days per week after 5 pm).

- Competitive hourly rate of $20.28 to $22.76; depending upon qualifications.
Assist with promoting successful groupand individual interactions among consumers
TGC’s Quality Improvement standards and the requirements of all funding sources.
High school graduate or GED required. Must have completed one year of college course
work inthe field of human services, or have one year of experience in the field of human
services, oroneyearcombination of education and work experience in the field of human
services
EXPERIENCERequired:
atleast 6 months experience working with individuals in the community. Experience gained through practicum experience or volunteer work can be included.
Preferred: experience working with individuals with mental health issues.
