Ingredient Solutions delivers nutritional, functional wheat- and pea-based ingredients aligned with consumer trends. The company operates in locations across the Midwestern U.S., and overseas in Northern Ireland and Mexico.

The Opportunity

Provide enterprise‑wide leadership for Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) compliance by developing, maintaining, and enforcing MGP’s corporate safety standards, policies, and programs. The Corporate Safety Compliance Manager ensures alignment with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements while driving consistency, risk reduction, and continuous improvement across all sites. This role acts as the primary corporate partner to Site Safety Managers, setting expectations, auditing performance, and enabling sites to meet or exceed MGP safety standards.

What

You Will Be Doing:
Corporate Safety Governance & Strategy
  • Develop, maintain, and publish corporate OSH policies, standards, and minimum requirements applicable to all sites.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in OSHA and other applicable regulatory requirements, national consensus standards, and industry best practices; communicate impacts and required actions to site leadership.
  • Establish corporate safety objectives, performance expectations, and key metrics aligned with company goals.
  • Determine and maintain a standardized schedule for program implementation and compliance verification across all sites.
Compliance Oversight & Auditing
  • Conduct corporate‑level audits to verify compliance with OSH regulations, internal standards, and required programs during implementation, post‑implementation, and ongoing operation.
  • Evaluate site conformance with corporate safety policies and regulatory requirements, identifying gaps and systemic risks.
  • Document audit results, trends, and corrective action status; prepare and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Support and coordinate regulatory inspections, third‑party audits, and insurance visits, as applicable.
Partnership with Site Safety Managers
  • Provide functional, technical, and programmatic leadership to Site Safety Managers through a strong dotted‑line relationship.
  • Ensure consistent interpretation and application of corporate safety policies across all locations.
  • Support Site Safety Managers in addressing complex safety issues, regulatory challenges, and incident trends.
  • Facilitate regular collaboration, information sharing, and best‑practice alignment among site safety leaders.
  • Define minimum corporate OSH training requirements by role and function.
  • Establish expectations for training content, delivery methods, and documentation across sites.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through audits, metrics, and trend analysis; recommend improvements as needed.
  • Ensure training programs remain aligned with regulatory requirements and corporate standards.
Data Analysis, Metrics, & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain enterprise‑level safety performance metrics, dashboards, and leading/lagging indicators.
  • Analyze injury, incident, audit, and trend data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare data‑driven reports and presentations for senior leadership and executive review.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through measurable outcomes and accountability.
Who We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, or related field required.
  • Equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered.
  • CSP, CIH, or similar professional safety certification, preferred.
  • OSHA 511 or equivalent regulatory training, preferred.
  • HAZWOPER, First Aid/CPR preferred.
