An exciting opportunity exists for a Blast Operator to join our Atchison, KS location. The Blast Operator is to support plant production within the Cleaning department.

SHIFT: 1st and 2nd
PAY: $24.38

• Maintaining Cleaning room equipment (mostly handheld)
• Servicing and ordering parts to keep equipment running
• Keeping arc air stalls and cutting floors magged up and orderly
• Keep work area clean
• Ability to operate floor crane when needed
• Alert supervisor of any safety or quality issues
• Alert supervisor of any maintenance issues
• Recommend process improvements when noticed
• Participate in special activities, projects, and programs to support Bradken safety, quality and productivity goals
• Other duties assigned or requested by supervision

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Able to work in hot and cold environments
• Exert 20-60 lbs. occasionally and 10-25 lbs. frequently
• Must have the ability to change between sitting, standing, and kneeling positions
• Ability to be on their feet for numerous hours at a time and climb over obstacles
• Must have the ability to twist, stoop, bend, and stand in the performance of job duties
• Must have the ability to climb ladders or work at heights periodically
