County of Atchison is seeking a Shop Mechanic/Equipment Operator I to perform maintenance and repair of vehicles and heavy equipment. The role includes operating department trucks and equipment, using power and hand tools, and supporting road and bridge maintenance projects.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of mechanic/shop experience, and valid driver's license with Class B CDL (tanker endorsement);
Class A CDL must be obtained within 90 days.
