Position: Electrician Role OSB
Join Athabasca OSB Division as a Red Seal Certified Electrician in Slave Lake, Alberta. Be part of a team that plays a vital role in maintaining electrical safety and reliability.

As a Certified Electrician, you will leverage your skills in troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment. We’re looking for candidates with strong expertise in PLC and HMI systems, along with communication and teamwork abilities. A background in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use PLC and HMI knowledge to resolve electrical problems

• Carry out maintenance and upgrades to electrical systems

• Innovate solutions for improving equipment performance

• Plan and organize maintenance programs effectively

Requirements:

• Interprovincial Red Seal ticket as an Electrician

• Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with CMMS, preferably JD Edwards

• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

• Forest products experience is advantageous
