Position Overview & Responsibilities- Territory – Athens, Decatur and surrounding areas
- Business Development – Proactively identify and establish contact with potential customers through cold calling, referrals, and in-person visits.
- Relationship Management – Manage existing accounts by providing expert tire solutions, maintenance programs, service offerings, and ongoing product updates to fleet operators and independent related repair shops.
- Product Demonstrations – Conduct on-site presentations of tire specifications, features (such as tread patterns and performance ratings), and specialized automotive parts.
- Preventive maintenance – Develop preventive maintenance solutions which assist fleet managers with ensuring their fleets are road ready and DOT compliant.
- DOT certification will be required and can be company sponsored.
- Sales Strategy & Reporting – Execute marketing strategies for specific regions and maintain accurate records to track sales goals.
- Experience – Typically requires 3+ years sales experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in automotive or tire retail.
- Licensing – A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory due to frequent regional travel.
- DOT certification is required and can be company sponsored.
- Physical Requirements – Must be able to lift and move tires (30–75 lbs) and be able to walk large fleet lots along with bending to inspect tires.
