Adjunct Instructor Pool - Multimedia Design - College of Arts and Sciences

Job Duties

Athens State University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions. These positions are part-time, non‑tenured positions, teaching one to two undergraduate classes per semester. Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required. Minimum requirements include a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Payment is based upon a per course fee as determined by the University.

• Develop and teach undergraduate, upper‑level courses in multimedia and 3‑D animation.
• Develop and teach graduate courses in virtual environments, 3‑D animation, history of multimedia, art entrepreneurship, and individual studio.

Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Earned MFA in Art or professional equivalency.

Based upon a per course fee as determined by the University. No benefits are offered for this temporary position.

Unofficial transcripts should be from the college or university which verifies minimum qualifications for the position. Upon an offer of employment, official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended must be submitted. Continued employment is contingent upon receipt of transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
