Position: Adjunct Instructor Pool - Multimedia Design - College of Arts and Sciences (24-25, 25-26)

Job Duties

Athens State University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions. These positions are part-time, non‑tenured positions, teaching one to two undergraduate classes per semester. Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required. Minimum requirements include a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Payment is based upon a per course fee as determined by the University.

  • Develop and teach undergraduate, upper‑level courses in multimedia and 3‑D animation.
  • Develop and teach graduate courses in virtual environments, 3‑D animation, history of multimedia, art entrepreneurship, and individual studio.
Required Qualifications

Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Earned MFA in Art or professional equivalency.

Salary Schedule

Based upon a per course fee as determined by the University. No benefits are offered for this temporary position.
