Open Rank Faculty, Early Childhood Education (Tenure-Track)

Responsibilities include:

teaching undergraduate and/or graduate Early Childhood Education and education courses in various formats; designing, developing, and delivering high-quality instruction and assessments; supporting student academic achievement and career readiness; supervising and mentoring teacher candidates; participating in curriculum development and accreditation activities; promoting candidate success on educator certification assessments; engaging in scholarship and professional development; serving on university, college, and program committees; and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications required include: earned Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Child and Family Studies, or a closely related field; at least three years of successful teaching in P-3 settings; commitment to culturally responsive teaching; and evidence of scholarly productivity and professional engagement. Preferred qualifications include experience in early literacy, STEM education, inclusive practices, curriculum development, family engagement, assessment, and educational technology.

Salary band: AS200/AO180. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
