Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based Behavior Specialist role is available in Athens, AL, seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide support in an educational setting. This contract position begins immediately with an expected end date of May 22, 2026. The assignment involves approximately 35 hours per week, plus up to 5 additional hours for supervision and meetings with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct behavioral interventions and support to students across various age groups and severity levels
• Collaborate with school staff and BCBAs to implement individualized behavior plans
• Maintain flexibility with assignment locations within the school and accommodate diverse student needs
• Participate in meetings and receive supervision as required under RBT certification guidelines
• Arrive approximately 15 minutes before student start times according to assigned school level:
  • Elementary: 8:00 AM 2:30 PM
  • Junior High/Middle School: 8:00 AM 3:00 PM
  • All Grades (AAA/ASFL program): 8:00 AM 3:00 PM
  • High School: 8:30 AM 3:40 PM

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (expired certifications are not accepted)
• Willingness to work with students of all ages and behavioral severities
• Flexibility to work across multiple school locations as required
