Position Overview:

Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide plays a key role in resident care by supporting meal preparation, service, sanitation, and safety. This position helps ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, welcoming, and well-organized dining environment.

What You'll Do:

Support meal and snack preparation, service, and delivery

Keep work areas, equipment, tables, and floors clean and sanitary

Wash dishes and utensils; collect soiled items and properly store clean items

Review meal trays for accuracy based on menus and diet orders

Store raw and leftover food safely and correctly

Follow all universal precautions, sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures

Work some weekends and holidays as part of the team rotation

What We're Looking For:

A patient, respectful, and positive attitude — especially when working with older adults and individuals with disabilities

Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Must be at least 18 years of age

Reliable, dependable, and able to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation
