We are hiring Aerospace Assembly Technicians (Precision Assembly) to support the precision assembly of rocket engine components onsite in Huntsville, Alabama
. In this role, you'll work with tight tolerances, complex mechanical systems, and industry-leading aerospace hardware.
This is a hands‑on mechanical role suited for those with aerospace, aviation, turbo machinery, diesel, or automotive experience, particularly those familiar with blueprints, quality inspection, and working with precision tools.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS & PAY RATES- A Shift Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM $46.20/hour W2
- B Shift Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM $50.82/hour W2
- C Shift Friday – Sunday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM $51.28/hour W2
- D Shift Friday – Sunday, 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM $53.13/hour W2
Note:
Overtime is available and encouraged. Training begins on A Shift for one week before transitioning to your assigned shift.
- Assemble rocket engine systems: combustion devices, turbo machinery, valves, avionics
- Disassemble hardware for diagnostics and repairs
- Conduct hydraulic testing, leak testing (helium/nitrogen), and hydro proof structural testing
- Perform detailed inspection to tolerances of 0.0001″
- Operate hoists, torque tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
- Follow and create work instructions; maintain cleanliness standards for LOX/GUX compatibility
- Collaborate with engineers and support custom tooling design and documentation
- Comply with safety protocols and AS9100 quality standards
- Participate in troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and feedback loops between design and manufacturing
- 4–6 years of direct hands‑on mechanical assembly experience (e.g., aviation, automotive, oil & gas, diesel, turbo machinery)
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs
- Experience using micrometers, slide calipers, and torque tools
- Familiarity with CAD drawings (Windchill/CREO a plus)
- Quality‑focused; comfortable in regimented, safety‑critical environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex written instructions
- Comfortable working around high‑pressure systems, liquid/gaseous oxygen, and in a cleanroom‑like setting
- Technical degree or A&P certification preferred
