Finance Coordinator

An Overview:

Perform general accounting functions and processes for the organization and the people it supports.

• Paying bills and writing spending checks,
• Ensuring benefits are deposited,
• Inputting all financial transactions in Quickbooks, balancing checkbooks monthly and providing reports,
• Reviewing and reconciling receipts,
• Ensuring that assets for each person served remain under $2000. Create and manage stable accounts for people supported with funds over limit.
• Working closely with Community Support Coordinators on large purchases and maintenance needs on the homes of the people GO supports

• Ability to use Microsoft Excel fluently.
• Ability to use Quickbooks.
• Ability to use mathematical computations.
• Ability to balance a checkbook and maintain pristine financial records.
• Ability to maintain a general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ability to maintain a strong organization of records.
• Ability to deal courteously with the public, other staff and people served.
• Ability to understand the mission and purpose of the organization.

• Minimum of Associate’s Degree.
• At least two years of accounts payable and accounts receivable experience required. An additional year(s) of experience may be substituted for the Associate’s Degree.
• Fluency in Excel and Quickbooks required.
• Experience with payroll preferred.

• This is an in office position, requiring you to work Monday-Friday 9AM-3PM
