Finance Coordinator

An Overview

Perform general accounting functions and processes for the organization and the people it supports.

• Paying bills and writing spending checks.
• Ensuring benefits are deposited.
• Inputting all financial transactions in Quick Books, balancing checkbooks monthly, and providing reports.
• Reviewing and reconciling receipts.
• Ensuring that assets for each person served remain under $2000; create and manage stable accounts for people supported with funds over limit.
• Working closely with Community Support Coordinators on large purchases and maintenance needs on the homes of the people GO supports.

• Ability to use Microsoft Excel fluently.
• Ability to use Quick Books.
• Ability to use mathematical computations.
• Ability to balance a checkbook and maintain pristine financial records.
• Ability to maintain a general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Ability to maintain a strong organization of records.
• Ability to deal courteously with the public, other staff, and people served.
• Ability to understand the mission and purpose of the organization.

• Minimum of Associate’s Degree.
• At least two years of accounts payable and accounts receivable experience required; an additional year(s) of experience may substitute for the Associate’s Degree.
• Fluency in Excel and Quick Books required.
• Experience with payroll preferred.

This is an in-office position, requiring you to work Monday-Friday 9 AM-3 PM.
