Responsibilities
  • Check with the office for daily or weekly assignments, which depend on upcoming office events (25% of time).
  • Responsible for checking all Continuing Education spaces daily for set‑up and cleanliness.
  • Set‑up for all Continuing Education events.
  • Work with office personnel in food service purchase, pickup, set‑up, and clean‑up.
  • Organize storage space allocated to the Office of Continuing Education.
  • Data entry, preparing mailers, and making copies (75% of time).
  • Follow university and office policies and procedures with time reporting, and governance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Summary

Must be able to work independently, have excellent problem‑solving skills, and good interpersonal and customer service skills. Duties will include data entry, providing reception and phone coverage, providing duplicates, handling fax and email communications. Help staff with mailings, event planning, room set‑up, and other duties as needed.

Relevant/Preferred Education

High School Diploma.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Good organizational skills; ability to work in a team and get along with others; basic computer skills; physical strength to move tables, chairs, and about 50 pounds of weight; detail oriented and a self‑starter; ability to work independently at times; ability to keep a log and manage inventory; energetic, trustworthy and dependable; driver’s license (with a good driving record) to drive a University vehicle on campus, locally, and regionally if needed.
