Position Summary
This temporary position provides essential administrative and operational support to Joyner Lab teams, coordinating schedules, arranging meetings, and facilitating communication among team members to ensure the smooth execution of day‑to‑day project activities. The role is a 20‑hour‑per‑week position (FTE 0.50) with an opportunity to grow into a full‑time (40 hours per week) role based on business needs.
Employment type:
Employee. Salary: $17.66–$26.50 commensurate with experience.
- Provide administrative support, schedule meetings, coordinate project activities, and facilitate communication among team members.
- Maintain project documentation, monitor project timelines and deadlines, and communicate potential delays to Dr. Joyner and the lab manager.
- Assist with grants administration.
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
