Duties/Responsibilities- Check with the office for daily or weekly assignments, which depend on upcoming office events.
- Responsible for checking all Continuing Education spaces daily for set-up and cleanliness.
- Set up for all Continuing Education events.
- Work with office personnel in food service purchase, pickup, set-up, and clean up.
- Organize storage space allocated to the Office of Continuing Education.
- Data entry, preparing mailers, and making copies.
- Follow university and office policies and procedures with time reporting, and governance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Provide reception and phone coverage.
- Provide duplicates, handle fax and email communications.
- Help staff with mailings, event planning, room set‑up, and other duties as needed.
Must be able to work independently, have excellent problem‑solving skills, and good interpersonal and customer service skills.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, CertificationHigh School Diploma.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies- Good organizational skills; ability to work in a team and get along with others;
- Basic computer skills;
- Physical strength to move tables, chairs and about 50 pounds of weight;
- Detail oriented and a self‑starter;
- Ability to work independently at times;
- Ability to keep a log and manage inventory and energetic, trustworthy and dependable;
- Driver’s license (with a good driving record) to drive a University vehicle on campus, locally, and regionally if needed.
Physical strength to move tables, chairs, furniture, office equipment and up to 50 pounds of weight. Driving.
