Position SummaryThe Executive Assistant to the Dean of the College of Engineering provides critical administrative support to the Dean and Dean s suite, including maintaining the Dean s calendar and schedule, managing email correspondence, and preparing and submitting travel authorizations, reimbursements, and expense requests. This is a highly professional role that serves as the first point of contact for the Dean s office and serves as a subject matter expert for College of Engineering administrative inquiries.
The Executive Assistant will also serve as the primary point of contact for the Dean s Office and as the administrative lead for the College. In this role, the Executive Assistant will meet regularly with the College s administrative team to troubleshoot challenges, improve administrative processes, and train new administrative assistants. This position supports the goals and operations of the Dean s Office and the College s offices of Operations and Special Projects, Development and Alumni Relations, and Human Resources, and is a coordination role, not a supervisory one.
