Position Summary

The Research Assistant position involves the use of statistics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to enhance understanding of the long-term hydrological cycles on biological migratory behavior at the Savannah River Site. The position will assist in data base development, processing, and preparation of data report.

  • Data processing and analysis (70% of time)
  • Biweekly reporting and preparation of final report (25% of time)
  • Orientation and training at the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory (5% of time)

Physical Demands

Limited work outside maintaining environmental monitoring equipment and soil sampling. Lift up to 50 lbs.
