As an Accounting Clerk, you’ll support the accounting team with processing transactions, maintaining organized records, and assisting with reporting. This position offers hands‑on experience in a detail-focused environment and the opportunity to build practical accounting skills while working closely with a collaborative team.
Job Duties /Responsibilities- Take ownership of the payroll process by reviewing timecards for accuracy and approvals, and ensuring smooth, on‑time bi‑weekly payroll processing
- Serve as a go‑to resource for employees by resolving payroll questions and helping ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Keep financial operations running efficiently by organizing purchase requests and processing accounts payable items accurately and on schedule
- Manage weekly check runs, including preparing, printing, and distributing accounts payable and payroll checks
- Support annual audits by gathering key documentation, tracking requests, and helping resolve discrepancies

- Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting preferred
- Three to five years’ experience processing payroll required
- Proficient data entry skills and proven ability to use electronic data processing equipment and related payroll and financial software applications
