Position SummaryOversees the technical management of the Campus Logic applications, monitors and tracks scholarship account budgets (including multi-year and cohort-based spending), and coordinate data integration between OSFA, Admissions, and Foundation systems. The role manages stewardship data shared with Development and University personnel in compliance with federal data privacy requirements, and supports solutions to enhance scholarship processing and awarding. Serves as backup to the other technical Associate Directors.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and 5 years of professional experience
Preferred QualificationsPrior experience working in student financial aid preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies- Programming and data management experience.
- Familiarity with student information systems and financial aid processing systems.
- Acute attention to detail and deadlines. Multitask with high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies governing administration of student financial aid programs.
- Adherence to data and system security measures.
Sit for extended periods of time doing computer work. Lift up to 30 lbs. Work evenings and weekends, as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities- Participate in the development, maintenance and enhancements to Campus Logic applications (Student Forms, Scholarship Universe, Campus Communicator, Campus Metrics), including the day-to-day administration: configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with vendors.
- Monitor and manage scholarship account budgets, ensuring accurate tracking of expenditures across multiple years and student cohorts.
- Develop and maintain processes to project, reconcile, and report on scholarship spending and available balances.
- Coordinate and support data integration between OSFA, Admissions, and Foundation systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data flows.
- Collaborate with campus partners to identify system needs, improve functionality, and streamline scholarship awarding processes.
- Ensure stewardship data is collected, maintained, and shared with Development and university personnel in compliance with federal data privacy regulations and institutional policies.
- Serve as backup to coordinate completion of required reporting and various national surveys such as the Fiscal Operations Report and Application to Participate (FISAP), IPEDS, Peterson’s, US News and the Common Data Set.
- Develop, run, and manage queries to provide data for various users and tasks such as Scholarships, HOPE, Student Debt Management, etc., both internal and external to OSFA.
- Work extensively with end users to determine the context of the data the user is requesting and directing the development of accurate reports through in-house queries (and other reporting tools) that reflect exactly what the user needs.
- Participate as needed in internal assessments, audits, and other compliance and fund management needs.
- Serve as a backup to other technical Associate Directors, providing cross-functional support as needed.
- Generate and analyze reports to support decision-making, compliance, and strategic scholarship management.
- Identify and implement process improvements and technical solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in scholarship processing and awarding.
- Document system processes, procedures, and data standards to ensure continuity and compliance.
- Train and support staff on system functionality, data practices, and scholarship processes.
