Job Description
- Manage all phases of ground-up municipal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls
- Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and public stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and public bid requirements and regulations
- Lead project meetings and act as the primary point of contact for clients and municipalities
- Manage procurement, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Identify risks early and implement solutions to maintain schedule and budget
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, specifications, and inspection requirements
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting

The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
- Proven experience managing ground-up municipal or public sector projects
- Strong understanding of public bidding processes, codes, and compliance requirements
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost management
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in regulated environments
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Within a commutable distance to Athens, GA
