• Ensure the safety of the crew, equipment and client visitors to the work site by complying with company policies and procedures and OSHA safety standards.
• Read a tape measure, blueprints, and construction/engineering notes.
• Initiate daily performance dialogues with foreman and ensure that those dialogues are being passed down.
• Read and interpret instructions/documentation and plan work activities.
• Obtain all service work orders from assigned supervisor.
• Review all service orders and ensure they are completed on time, staffed properly and the quality of work meets approved standards.
• Maintain database of all concrete activities performed by his crew.
• Ensure the DCP Concrete SOP is strictly adhered to.
• Assign work to his concrete crew.
• Review all concrete related estimates for new work and service work assigned to his crew.

• Extensive experience operating and performing preventive maintenance on maintenance equipment such as backhoes, farm tractors, forklifts, and rubber‑tired loaders.
• Possess the required level of computer skills necessary for this position.
• Ability to successfully complete GDOT maintenance and safety procedural training.
• Ability to successfully supervise others.
• Ability to assist/teach others by guiding and providing constructive feedback.
• Ability to successfully interact with others to influence, motivate, and challenge them.
