Position Summary

Parking Operations Student – Assistant position in the Auxiliary Parking Administration department. This role supports in‑office sales and operations of the Parking Services department, handling customer service and administrative tasks in a small business environment with advanced computer software and cash handling procedures.

Schedule

Regular shift: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Selected finalists must attend a three‑week training session during regular business hours before starting the evening shift.

Responsibilities
  • Work as the front‑line cashier to sell parking permits.
  • Answer telephone calls and greet visitors, providing general information and responding to inquiries.
  • Deliver oral and written messages as directed.
  • Enter received data into the computerized system.
Qualifications / Experience
  • No prior experience required.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Basic computer, keyboard, language, spelling, communication, and math skills.
  • Ability to multi‑task.
Physical Demands

Sitting for long periods in one location.
