Customer Service Specialist – Auxiliary Parking Admin (Customer Service Rep I, FLSA Non-Exempt, FTE 1.00)
Position SummaryThis incumbent provides comprehensive customer service support for all Auxiliary Services Units, ensuring high customer satisfaction. The Specialist guides customers through system processes and software applications, reports and resolves issues, and collaborates with unit managers to improve processes. Daily tasks include handling appeals, departmental orders, emails, frontline customer service, permit sales, internal reporting, and base dispatch, with a primary focus on enhancing the purchasing experience of goods and services provided by Auxiliary Services.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience using Touch Net, FLEX, Team Dynamix, and data analysis software such as QLIK
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in dynamic situations
- Lift up to 25 pounds
- Stand or sit for extended periods
- Resolve customer issues and provide timely solutions or alternatives.
- Work as a frontline cashier.
- Assist Customer Relations customers with inquiries.
- Process departmental orders.
- Process appeal results.
- Answer the switchboard (5 lines).
- Assign and track tickets via Team Dynamix.
- Screen and distribute incoming correspondence.
- Prepare letters, reports, and records as assigned.
- Participate in department and campus-wide activities associated with the duties and responsibilities of the position.
