Job SummaryAs a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests. This includes handling check-ins and check-outs, responding to guest inquiries, and processing payments in compliance with hotel standards. You will play a key role in ensuring a welcoming and seamless guest experience while supporting the overall operations of the front desk.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding customer service to guests and owners during check-ins, check-outs, and throughout their stay.
- Manage reservations and confirmations efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain the organization and functionality of front desk operations.
- Handle multiple tasks with attention to detail while staying service-focused.
- Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and other departments via phone, email, and written messages. Document relevant information in logbooks as needed.
- Resolve guest issues professionally and with a hospitable attitude.
- Provide accurate information to guests and visitors about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Coordinate special requests or arrangements as needed.
- Adhere to all operational policies and procedures, including those related to cash and credit card handling, safety, and security. Maintain compliance with all hotel standards to consistently exceed guest expectations.
- Previous customer service experience is required, ideally in a hotel or related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in English (spoken, read, and written) is essential.
- Ability to learn quickly and excel in a fast-paced, guest-facing role.
- Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weights (minimum of 20 lbs).
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the entire shift.
- Clearly convey information and ideas both verbally and in writing.
- Make sound decisions quickly and accurately, even in high-pressure situations.
- Listen actively, understand, and address concerns raised by guests and coworkers effectively.
