Project Architect

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Architect/Architectural Designer with 5+ years experience preferred (3 years minimum). This role is ideal for a self-motivated designer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality design work and clearly communicated drawing sets spanning modern new construction, adaptive-reuse, and historic preservation projects, while contributing to a values-driven culture.

• Lead design efforts from concept through construction documents
• Collaborate closely with clients and the internal team to solve complex design challenges
• Produce high-quality design drawings, 3D models, and presentations
• Mentor junior staff and support the growth of the studio
• Manage projects independently while meeting schedules and budgets
• Integrate historic preservation principles into design and documentation when applicable

• Minimum 3 years of professional architecture experience
• Licensed Architect (preferred but not required)
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and problem-solving ability in addition to high-level graphic communication skills
• Highly self-sufficient, driven, and detail-oriented
• Proficiency with design software (Revit, Rhino, Adobe Suite; D5 a plus)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
