Position Summary

The School of Computing at the University of Georgia invites applications for an Assistant Professor position starting August 2026. We are seeking candidates in all aspects of Cybersecurity, including algorithmic, systems, and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based approaches.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
Additional Requirements

Candidate should hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field with a strong record of high-quality publications in cybersecurity venues. Associate Professor candidates must also have an established record of external research funding and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies relevant to cybersecurity research and education. [Details omitted]
