The Department of Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy (CAP) in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Georgia is expanding our teaching faculty to meet the needs of our growing educational programs. CAP is seeking an outstanding, energetic, and innovative educator to join our faculty. This is a full‑time, non‑tenure‑track position at the rank of lecturer located in Athens, Georgia.
The primary duties of the faculty member include teaching in undergraduate and graduate programs and being actively engaged in citizenship to the college. The faculty member will teach up to three 3‑credit‑hour courses per term, participate in the development of new course materials, supervise teaching assistants, and interact with students, department faculty, and campus staff. The position provides a high level of autonomy.
Eligibilityand Qualifications
- Must possess a doctoral degree (PhD, Pharm
D, MD/DO, DNP) in the respective field or, for health‑related fields, a master’s degree with exceptional accomplishments documented for a terminal degree exception. - Evidence of teaching excellence in active learning methods for small and large group settings is highly desirable.
