About

the College/Unit/Department

This position will be an integral part of the team within the Office of Development and Alumni Relations (ODAR) in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) and reports to the Senior Director of Development. CAES has an alumni network of 20,000+ and consistently raises over $12 million annually. The Director of Alumni Relations is responsible for providing strategic direction for all aspects of the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences alumni engagement program, advancing communication, volunteerism, and philanthropy among alumni and friends.

The Director will develop and implement innovative programs and communication strategies to engage the College’s alumni, connecting alumni to each other, to the College, and to current students. The position will work collaboratively with a wide variety of constituents and must have an established history in building meaningful relationships and volunteer engagement.
