Position Summary
The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the College of Public Health at the University of Georgia invites applications for a non-tenure track lecturer position. The position is an academic year appointment (9-months) with an opportunity to supplement salary during the summer. The anticipated start date for this position is August 1, 2026.
This position will fill critical instructional and training needs in Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Global Health, and is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and the Global Health Institute and contribute to departmental function by serving on committees. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 24 credit-hours of instruction per year (4 courses per semester), including online courses.
Additional Requirements Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, and/or Certification
Preferred qualifications include 1 year of experience teaching online; minimum 1 year experience teaching graduate or undergraduate courses in Epidemiology, Biostatistics or Global Health preferred.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Successful candidates are expected to have a strong academic record in instruction and mentoring. Qualified candidates must have relevant instruction expertise.
