Position:
Surgical Technology Adjunct Instructor

Program Chair for Surgical Technology and Divisional Academic Dean
Salary/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.

Responsibilities:
* Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for specified courses.
* Evaluates students' progress in attaining goals and objectives.
* Prepares and maintains all required documentation for administrative report.
* Displays a high level of efforts and commitment to performing work.
* Operates effectively within the organizational structure.
* Assist with recruitment and retention.
* Manage all aspects of the classroom and laboratory.
* Daily operations, maintain safety equipment and inventory.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Associate's degree.
* Two (2) years of related work experience.
* Must be a National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Certified.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree.
* Experience teaching at a postsecondary level.
