Position SummaryThe Assistant Director of Development serves as a frontline fundraiser for the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences and is responsible for raising financial support for college-wide priorities as well as priorities across departments and programs within the College. Through frequent travel and in-person meetings, the Assistant Director of Development will qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual prospects and donors in support of Franklin College, with a focus on securing gifts in the $1,500-$50,000 range.
The Assistant Director of Development will also assist with the identification and referral of new major gift prospects capable of making gifts of $50,000 or more, working in collaboration with Franklin development leadership. When appropriate, participation in major gift solicitations will be encouraged as part of broader fundraising strategies.
