Summary
Responsible for external operations for the Track & Field/Cross Country program including recruiting coordination, coaches travel, servicing as the nutrition and media liaison.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or CompetenciesProficient in Microsoft programs, excellent organizational & effective communications skills among student-athletes, academic counselors, parents and coaches. The ability to work independently on multiple assignments. Strong working knowledge of NCAA Track and Field operations.
Duties/ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with the coaching staff and Director of Internal Operations in the overall administration of the program, including budget development and management. Serve as the recruiting coordinator for the track and field program. Maintain databases of potential recruits, schedule and plan all aspects of on-campus visits. Serve as the liaison between Olympic Sports nutrition team and the track and field program.
Serve as the liaison between Sports Communications and the track and field program. Plan and coordinate coaches travel for recruiting visits, meets, and other engagements. Other administrative duties as assigned by the head coach.
