Position SummaryThis is a six week summer internship through the UGA Young Scholars Program. Will work in a UGA lab under the guidance of a faculty mentor to produce a presentation on your research and experience by the end of the six weeks. Will be responsible for working in scientific settings including labs, greenhouses, fields, etc. to collect research.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In Position- 16 years of age or older
- Interest in STEM and agricultural sciences.
- Any classification between 10th grade through 12th grade with biology and chemistry taken.
High school biology and chemistry, communications skills, problem‑solving skills, critical thinking.
Physical DemandsLight Lifting. Normal office and laboratory environments.
